Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is our source of instruction. We affirm that the Bible is the revelation of God, that the Bible contains the will of God relative to man's redemption and welfare. Therefore, the Bible is the RULEBOOK AND GUIDE to the Faith and practice of this congregation. The Bible is the SUPREME AND FINAL AUTHORITY in all matters of Christian Doctrine for all humanity on the earth.

Our Savior

That Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the grave. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

Salvation

Salvation is being saved, or delivered, from the consequences of our sins. Sin leads to eternal death. Salvation and eternal life are possible through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and is a gift from God. Only by believing in Jesus as our Savior can we receive forgiveness for our sins. We are saved as we place our faith in Jesus through repentance, confession and baptism. Acts 4:10, 12

All Have Sinned

That all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but that every person has worth as a creation of God. Romans 3:21-24

Repent

That those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him. Acts 2:38

Baptism

We believe in baptism by immersion and believe that baptism represents the forgiveness and cleansing from sin that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism publicly acknowledges one's confession of faith and belief in the gospel message. By joining in baptism, we’re identifying ourselves with Jesus. Romans 6:4

Communion

When we take communion or the Lord’s Supper, it symbolizes the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. The wine and the bread in communion represent the blood and body of Jesus that was poured out and broken as a sacrifice for our gift of salvation. We partake of communion every week and other special times as a remembrance of Him. Matthew 26:26-29

The Church

That the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.

Marriage

Marriage is a sacred relationship, designed by God, and intended to unite a man and a woman for life. Genesis 2:18-24

Jesus's Return

That Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That God will one day dwell with his people in a new heaven and new earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Revelation 21:1-4

Missions We Support

We are a church that strongly believes in seeking and saving the lost. To that end, we financially support missions groups at the local, national and international levels. We believe the true mission of the church is found in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18- 20).


First – to GO and make disciples


Second – to build up the Church by equipping its members for service


Third – to reach out and instruct as He has directed.


We are committed to the support and partnership of our missionaries by praying for them regularly and supporting them financially.
